COI is 1.03 over 6 generations.

We were amazed with Chris-see litter and decided to keep this beautiful daughter from Chris-see and Hamilton.  I am very pleased with what I am seeing from this gilt so far.  Love that rounded head.  Can you tell I am really into heads?  Conformation to die for as well!  I look forward to what we can accomplish in our breeding program with this gilt.

I have wanted this gilt since the age of 6 weeks. I tried everything to talk Goose Meadow into letting me get her to no avail.  I reminded them about every 6 months that I wanted her.  lol  I was absolutely delighted to get the phone call that she was being placed for sale.  Of course, I jumped at owning her.  This sow is stunning!

Awakino is out of the newest imports and not yet heavily populated.  Matt told me once that he thought Tosha was the nicest of all the Awakino females he has produced.  I agree of course but, maybe I am bias?  lol  Tosha is an incredible mom and has a very sweet laid back temperament.  I love how she has matured. She is a Wellington daughter as well.

Cream

Cream has always been my least favorite until I saw this gilt.  I adore the Trish line so much and this gilt is just perfection.  Sweet and so friendly.  What a complete love. Her piglets are just as stunning as she is!  I am amazed at her offspring on the ground now.  Seems like each litter just gets better.  I retained her daughter Elsa and like I did Goose Meadow -folks are trying to purchase her even though she is not for sale.  lol  Lovely topline, beautiful head, terrific snout and longer bodied which is excellent for carrying her offspring.

This little Keropa is just beautiful.  I am delighed to have her in our herd.  Her first litter was amazing.  3 handsome fellows.    I look forward to more excited litters by this wonderful sow.  Her beauty is truly matched with her amazing personality.

One of the two rarest female lines in the USA.  I love the BH Rebecca Gina line .  They are very different than the Rebecca Gina line that was first brought into this country.  They tend to mature a bit slowly, wonderful producers and be on the smaller side.  We are delighted to have this little lady in our herd.

Paprika....

Wilsons Gina/ BH Tutaki

Registered AKKPS

Solid dark ginger

COI  of    1 .00 over 6 generations

Paprika was not one that I had planned on retaining.  Funny thing is that she was supposed to be from Matthew our Ru boar and thank goodness for DNA as we had a surprise.  Our BH Tutaki - Callister turned out to be the father instead.  Who says they can't breed through a fence?  Not me anymore.

This little gilt just kept getting better and better.  Amazing conformation, strong legs, feet and topline with a stunning head to boot.  Thus the reason that we have retained her.  She is going to be an amazing producer here at VKK.

I really had a hard time figuring out who to keep in Elsa's litter.  They were all adorable.  This gilt was originally named Ursula.  She is out of Umbria and Deacon.  What an amazing litter they produced.  We can't wait to watch this adorable gilt grow and develop.

I looked over the pictures from this litter over and over and just could not decide.  Something about this little lady just appealed to me.  I kept coming back to her.  Therefore, we are delighted to add her to our herd.  I look forward to seeing her develop and to see why I felt the way I did about her.  Watch for more pictures as she develops.

This girl is what I strive to produce.  Wonderful high tail set, firm topline, nice legs and rounded head with shorter snout.  I am so very proud of this litter of 10.  All double wattled.  I am super excited to watch her grow up.  I adore the Wilsons Gina line for their strong mothering skills, excellent conformation and strong personalities.  She is our 3rd generation Wilsons Gina.

This is our little California gilt.   She is a pistol!  She did not make new friends easily.  She is uniquely colored with almost totally black/ginger with just a bit of white on her face and all four feet.  Of course, you can not tell that right now since she walked in the mud puddle.  lol

Having been a pistol it was nice when Betsy Ross put her in her place and ended her need to be the dominant female.  She is a talker!  A great mother with strong mothering skills, easy whelper and great with her babies.

COI of  3.04 over 6 generations

I have been intrigued with the Tapeka line for many years.  I stayed away from this line due to the belts that they seem to produce.  Belts are not a correct KuneKune standard.  So, I patiently waited for this line to improve over a few generations before bringing this line into my herd as we try to improve the breed over generation after generation.  This little gal captured my attention and there is absolutely no sign of any belting in her so, here she is and I am delighted with her.  I also purchased her sister as well at this time.  Watch for them as they progress and for their contributions to our diverse herd.

This little gilt was Kellie when she was a baby.  She was sold to some wonderful folks in NC.  However, due to a move out of the country, I was able to obtain Jaelyn back to our herd.  She is a Matthew and Kari daughter and gentle and sweet little gilt.  Who could resist this adorable face?  Not me.  I look forward to continuing to watch her grow a mature.

I have previously owned 2 Rona's that I was not impressed with for our breeding program.  When I saw this little gilt, it made me reconsider adding this line to our herd again.  I am delighted to have her and look forward to watching her grow and mature.  How could I go wrong with a Ru on the other side of her pedigree?  lol  She has some Aria Giana on her dad's side just adding to her diversity and out of Liza which puts some incredible babies on the ground.  Watch for her as she matures.

This is Cadence sister.  I had the worse time trying to decide which of these two piglets to keep.  One day, I saw a photo of a stunning gilt.  I contacted the owner asking to purchase this pig.  I did not care what lines or anything else.  I just knew I had to own her.  The owner laughed and laughed at me but, I could not figure out why.  Short version, it was because she was bred by me.  lol

A few weeks later, I got the offer to purchase her.  I sure did.  It is great to have her home.

This sow was from our "Moment in History" litter of Sassy and Matthew.  This was the very first cross of the Ru and Wilsons Gina line in this country.  Ru and Wilsons Gina are an original line that Willowbank started his KuneKune recovery program with in 1978.  So to be able to be the first to reproduce this crossing in the USA was truly a moment in history in this country and we were so delighted to be the first to ever do it.  (and the 2nd, 3rd and 4th!  lol)

This sow is very nice, excellent mother and an honor to have bred her.  Mom to our Rayna and Sassy is the mom to Betsy and grandmother to Rayna

We have waited for 2 years to bring home a Sally and are rewarded for the wait with this amazing little gilt.  (now sow) She is so beautiful. One of the most incredible toplines on a pig I have ever seen.   Sally is probably the rarest sow lines in the USA producing usually mostly boars. We look forward to seeing what this beautiful little gilt will produce for us.  Compliments of our dearest friends over at Goose Meadow - Matt and Chris.  Haylee is a Wellington daughter.
